Welcome to the Daily Bulletin for August 17th! This article will sum up some of the news stories from today, and hopefully will help keep you up to date.
Diablo III’s appearance on the Switch marks the first time in 15 years that a Blizzard game has been on a Nintendo console. Of course many people have been asking if we could now see other Blizzard games on the Switch, namely Overwatch. Switch Senior Producer told GameSpot that “Anything is within the realm of possibility”, and when asked if Overwatch could run on the Switch he simply said “Yes, it is feasible”.
Dad Quest Chapter 3 Released Today
Excalibur Games today announced that Dad Quest, the game in which players use their child as a weapon (no joke), released it’s third chapter today. In this world children are indestructible weapons that can be hurled at enemies to defeat them. It’s a game I highly recommend in my review, if you enjoy a quirky sense of humour in your video games.
Fox21 Get TV Rights To Vampyr
It has been announced that DONTNOD’s Vampyr is set to be adapted for TV. The game released last June, reaching number 1 on Steam at the time. DONTNOD seem happy with this news, with CEO Oskar Guilbert saying “We cannot wait to see how the talented team at FOX21 will bring out the darkly atmospheric universe of our game into television.”. Our writer Dan wrote in his review “Vampyr had some big ideas and if they were implemented better it could have been a truly great game”.
Fallout 76 Gets A Perks Trailer
The sub-heading says it all. Bethesda uploaded a new Fallout 76 trailer, highlighting the benefits of perks in Fallout, to their Youtube channel. The trailer is available below.
