TimeSplitters May Be Making A Comeback

TimeSplitters is a classic series that many of you may remember from the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox days. The series is a FPS series that was developed by Free Radical. Free Radical consisted of Rare veterans who were responsible for the FPS gem that is GoldenEye 007. A new game in the TimeSplitters series hasn’t been officially announced, but Koch Media (a subsidiary of THQ Nordic) announced that they acquired the IP so we’ll have to wait and see.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Limited Edition Will Have A GameCube Controller

I mean I’m sure some of us would have preferred Waluigi as a playable character but hey ho! The Limited Edition version of the game comes with a Smash GameCube controller, as well as a USB adapter that allows 4 GameCube controllers to be connected to one Switch. This edition of the game is currently only confirmed for Europe, but will more than likely come to other regions.

Super Smash Bros.

Doom Eternal Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

QuakeCon 2018 saw a lot of announcements, one of which was the first gameplay of the new Doom game; Doom Eternal. The gameplay looks very Doom like; fast and bloody. You can see it below for yourself. At the presentation, no announcement was made regarding the game on Switch. The official Doom Twitter account announced the news just after the presentation.

No Dishonored Games For A Little While

Arkane Studios, the team behind Dishonored, have announced that the series is currently in a hiatus. Well it wasn’t the studio that announced it, rather Arkane’s Lead Designer Ricardo Bare. He told VG247;

“I can’t say definitively what might happen down the road,
anything could happen, but [Dishonored] is resting for now”.
