Last week EA announced the Battlefield 1 will have a rent-a-server program and have today released the prices for both PC and consoles.
For those that missed the original announcement, the rent-a-server program will allow players to set up their own private and public Battlefield 1 servers, with control of different gameplay options to map rotations. This will allow players to set up their own gameplay options and map rotations to suit their own play styles.
The prices are the following in USD with the approximate GBP equivalent:
- 1 day: $2.99/£2.50
- 7 days: $11.99/£9.75
- 30 days: $42.99/£35.00
- 90 days: $99.99/£81.50
- 180 days: $149.99/£122.40
PLAYSTATION 4 / XBOX ONE
- 1 day: $1.99/£1.60
- 7 days: $7.99/£6.50
- 30 days: $26.99/£22.00
- 90 days: $64.99/£53.00

Rent-a-server will allow players to determine a range of options such as bullet damage, ticket count, weapons, modes and maps, creating a tailored experience. In a blog post on the Battlefield website, EA have stated that a kick/ban feature will also be available but not on launch.
Battlefield 1 will hit shops tomorrow on October 21st and the rent-a-server program will be launched separately in November.
