Ark Getting A VR Update That Lets You Live Out Jurassic Park

Ark Park is coming to VR devices in 2017.

The new virtual reality experience based on Ark: Survival Evolved is being developed by Snail Games’ Peacock Studio with creative input of Studio Wildcard.

Ark Park is a virtual reality experience like no other, allowing players to get up close and personal with dinosaurs and also the immersive primal environments. Explore tropical rainforests, snow-covered mountains, and expansive plains, along with the dinosaurs that call these habitats home.

The game will allow players to explore a Jurassic Park-esque world where you’ll be able to do different single and multiplayer activities like exploration, item gathering and taking selfies with the animals.

Another feature of the game will be the ability of collecting the different species in the petting zoo where players will be able to interact with them, see their information and even customize their appearance. In addition to this, creatures from Ark: Survival Evolved and Ark: Scorched Earth can also be uploaded to Ark Park’s petting zoo.

Ark Park is coming in 2017 for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
