Pokemon Direct!!

On February 26, 2016 Nintendo held a Pokemon Direct. In this direct they commemorated 20 years of Pokemon. Showing off how Pokemon can break the language barrier and bring people closer together. Nintendo did a recap of all the Pokemon games that have come out throughout the years and announced that Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will be releasing worldwide Holiday 2016. With this two new languages were added to Pokemon Sun and Moon games, traditional and simplified Chinese making a total of 9 languages available.

With this also came the news of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow version being released on the Nintendo EShop tomorrow February 27, 2016 for the 20th year anniversary. These games, unlike on the original versions will be able to take advantage of the internet capabilities. Battling and trading over the internet will be possible on these games now. Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow will also be compatible with the Pokemon Bank, so you will be able to send your Pokemon to your new Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon games.
