Ubisoft Reveal Collapse, Lets You Simulate A Viral Infection

Have you ever wondered “How long would it take for the world to fall into chaos if a viral epidemic happened?”. Well know you can know!

Yesterday saw the release of Collapse by Ubisoft. Collapse is an online simulation that creates a personalised projection of the end of society based on decision’s the player makes, for example which hospital they will go to for treatment and which pharmacy they will visit.

Collapse uses NASA and IATA data, as well as inputs from emergency risk specialists and public service employees. Collapse features 3800 cities across the world, which accounts for 95% of the world’s population.

The simulator is based on the backstory of Ubisoft’s upcoming third-person shooter The Division, in which a virus devastates the planet bringing society down in the process. You can play Collapse on it’s website. Collapse’s trailer is available below.
