New HITMAN Trailer Fills In Time Gap. Beta For PS+ Users

Recently Io-Interactive released a new trailer for HITMAN, called the ‘Legacy Opening Cinematic’. The Legacy trailer aims to bridge the 20 year gap between the recent prologue missions from HITMAN’s recent beta up to the first mission in Paris at the beginning of the main game.

It was also announced that, following the success of the recent beta for HITMAN on PS4 for those who preordered the game, Io-Interactive are now inviting all PlayStation Plus members to try out the beta on March 4th.

“Our initial beta was an extremely helpful moment for our new HITMAN game, as it gave us great insight into how the server game mechanics function under pressure. A lot of those pressure points are currently being strengthened for release,” said Hannes Seifert, Studio Head at Io-Interactive. “Now Sony have given us the opportunity to go even bigger to validate some of the initial things we saw. Therefore we are inviting everyone who is a PlayStation Plus member to try the same beta and you don’t have to pre-order the game. This will allow us to really stress test our server setup, which is a crucial element for us to get just right.”

The beta, also known as the prologue, is set 20 years before the events of the new HITMAN game. For more details see our article
