BioShock Creator’s Next Game Has Some Awesome Influences

Speaking yesterday at the Take This charity livestream, BioShock creator Ken Levine revealed a little bit more about his next game which is still largely a mystery.

Even though Levine’s new game is a first-person shooter, it still draws influence from none FPS games. Some games Levine listed games such as Dark Souls, Shadow of Mordor and Dying Light as influences for his new game. But I wouldn’t necessarily expect Levine’s new game to resemble any of the previous games, as Levine claims the game is much more similar to earlier games Levine worked on. Maybe something similar to System Shock 2?

During the charity event, Levine also revealed that the game is not a AAA game. This makes sense considering that we know the game is a much smaller, more entrepreneurial project.

We’ll update you when we receive more news.
